ST. GEORGE, Utah, Aug. 5, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman’s body was found Saturday morning by a man on a morning walk near the Santa Clara River.
The man alerted St. George Police at 7:39 a.m. and they responded to the scene, near 1545 S. Dixie Drive.
“Search and rescue is on scene with their service dogs to help locate additional evidence, as we believe the body may have been washed downstream,” said a statement from the St. George Police Department.
“We can confirm at this time the body is an adult female but can not release her identity at this time. There is no immediate danger to the public.”
