90-Year-Old Clearfield Woman Fatally Injured In Woods Cross Rollover

WOODS CROSS, Utah, Feb. 9, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — An elderly female passenger was killed in a single vehicle rollover Woods Cross Monday night.

Arline K. Rhyner, 90, from Clearfield, was the only passenger in a vehicle traveling southbound on the I-15 when the accident around 10:50 p.m.

Utah Highway Patrol said the Suzuki Forenza Rhyner was in took the 500 South Woods Cross exit too fast.

“The driver was unable to negotiate the curve. The vehicle went off the road to the left. As the driver attempted to bring the vehicle back to the roadway it overturned,” the UHP said.

The driver, a 61-year-old male, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
