WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, July 7, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a credit union in West Valley City Wednesday afternoon.

The male suspect entered the University Federal Credit Union at 2752 S. Redwood Road at approximately 1:15 p.m., according to WVC Police public information officer Roxeanne Vainuku.

He presented a note demanding money, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled on foot, heading northbound from the credit union location.

About 15 minutes prior to this robbery, the same male entered another West Valley City credit union wearing the same clothing.

He fled when asked to remove his hat and glasses.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall with a thin build. He appears to be in his mid-to-late 20s and spoke with an accent.
