Exhibition in China features 700 pieces of chocolate-based art

CHANGCHUN, China, Dec. 16 (UPI) — A French artist who specializes in creating art from chocolate displayed 700 pieces of thought-provoking confections at a Chinese exhibition.

A video filmed at the Changchun, Jilin Province, exhibition, titled “Sweet Holiday, Nicolay’s Chocolate,” shows a wide variety of French artist Nikolay Popov’s chocolate-based paintings and sculptures.

The pieces include chocolate depictions of the Eiffel Tower, China’s Terracotta Army, pottery, and musical instruments.

Popov has displayed his works in more than 50 cities around the world.
