Idaho Man Arrested for Kidnapping After Woman Screams for Help on Interstate
MERIDIAN, IDAHO – June 17, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A Boise man has been arrested after witnesses said they saw a woman screaming from a car to call the police.
According to Idaho State Police, a call came in around 3:11 a.m. Wednesday from a woman who was driving on I-84 and noticed another woman who was yelling from the passenger side of a white Chevrolet Pickup for someone to contact the police.
A trooper in the area responded to the call and was able to locate the vehicle and made the traffic stop.
The woman, who has not been identified, jumped out of the vehicle and ran toward the trooper reporting that she had been held against her will in the pickup after a disagreement with the man driving.
Police identified the driver as Nathanial James McNichol, 30, of Boise.
The relationship, if any, between the woman and McNichol is not known at this time.
McNichol has been booked into the Ada County Jail facing charges of Second Degree Kidnapping
