June 19 (UPI) — North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will visit China on Tuesday to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss the outcome of his summit with U.S. President Donald Trump.

A North Korean Air Koryo flight departed Pyongyang to Beijing on Tuesday morning. Kim was expected to be on board the Air Koryo Antonov An-148, his other private jet, which has been used for his domestic travels in the North, South Korean media Hankyoreh reported.

It will be the third meeting between Kim and Xi following their summit in the Chinese port city of Dalian on May 8. In March, Kim made his first foreign trip to China to meet Xi in Beijing prior to his summits with South Korean President Moon Jae-in on April 27 and with U.S. President Donald Trump on June 12.

Kim is expected to brief Xi on the outcome of his recent summit with Trump in Singapore and discuss upcoming negotiations and related strategies for denuclearization, according to Nikkei Shimbun.
