ORANGE, California, March 31, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Four people are dead, including a child, after a shooting at a Southern California business complex late Wednesday afternoon, according to a supervisor for the Orange Fire Department.
Two others, including the suspected shooter, have been injured.
The Orange Police Department released a statement, saying officers received reports of shots fired around 5:30 p.m. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the multiple shooting victims.
Police say an officer-involved shooting took place and the suspect was transported to a local trauma unit. Their condition was unknown.
The situation at the crime scene is reportedly “stabilized and there is no threat to the public,” according to Orange P.D.
The city of Orange is located in Orange County about three miles north of Santa Ana.
