Dec. 27 (UPI) — Three people were shot and killed Tuesday night in Omaha, Neb., and police say they’re on the hunt for a convicted killer as a person of interest.

Omaha police are searching for John Dalton, who previously served 11 years in prison for killing his 22-year-old wife. He was released in 2010, as a plea bargain spared him a potential life sentence.

Dalton, 46, is related to at least one of the victims in Nebraska and is the owner of the home, according to police.

The victims’ names were not immediately released.

Police believe Dalton may be driving a black 2015 GMC Terrain or a red 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, and warn that he is dangerous.
