SUN CITY, South Africa, Nov. 11 (UPI) — A pack of about 20 mongooses scampered across a golf course during a European Tour event in South Africa.
The European Tour’s official Twitter account shared video of the horde as they briefly interrupted play.
“About 20 mongoose invade the green…But they know not to interfere with the ball,” the European Tour wrote.
The pack quickly left the field of play and did not shift the position of the golfer’s ball on the putting green at all, much to the delight of the commentators.
