WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (UPI) — In the ongoing feud between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton over Bill Clinton‘s conduct while president, a poll shows voters consider Bill Clinton more respectful of women than Trump.

A poll released by Fox News on Sunday showed 50 percent of voters consider Bill Clinton more respectful of women, compared to 37 percent who think the same of Trump.

The poll comes as Trump continues his onslaught against the Clintons over the former president’s past affairs. In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Trump said of Hillary: “She’s not a victim. She was an enabler.”

“She worked with him. She was — some of the women have been totally destroyed. Some of these women have been destroyed. And Hillary worked with him,” he said.

Trump also defended himself against allegations of sexism.

“I have more respect for women than Hillary Clinton has,” he said “I have more respect than Hillary Clinton, OK? I will take care of this country far better than Hillary.”

The attacks began after Hillary accused Trump of sexism, because Trump called her bathroom break during the last Democratic presidential debate “disgusting.”

That wasn’t the first time Trump’s attitude toward women has been questioned.

During a Republican presidential debate in August, Fox News host Megyn Kelly took him to task.

“You call women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs” and ‘disgusting animals.’ […] Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. You once told a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?'”

Trump responded by attacking Kelly for several days in interviews and on Twitter, including one now infamous remark some felt implied Kelly was menstruating during the debate.

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon. “Blood coming out of her wherever.”
