NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (UPI) — New details about Rosie O’Donnell‘s daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, have emerged since the missing 17-year-old was found this week.

The 53-year-old television personality revealed Chelsea had been missing since Aug. 11 on Tuesday, and reported she was found later in the day. Officials now say the teenager was discovered at the home of 25-year-old Steven Sheerer in Barnegat Township, N.J.

O’Donnell’s rep said the star is “very concerned about her [daughter’s] well-being” amid word Sheerer is an alleged heroin dealer. He was arrested for heroin possession, possession with the intent to distribute and endangering the welfare of a child in 2012.

“She is 17 and he is an [alleged] drug dealer,” a source told Page Six. “They met online, on Tinder. Chelsea is mentally ill. It is a parent’s worst nightmare. Rosie is relieved that Chelsea is back but is frightened for her daughter.”

“I wouldn’t say he was a boyfriend, more of an acquaintance,” patrolman Nicholas Dapuzzo said. “She stayed there a few nights and she had stayed elsewhere, but she wouldn’t tell me where. I couldn’t say they were sexually involved. But they met through Tinder sometime in July.”

O’Donnell has since tweeted a photo of Sheerer and linked to an article about his previous offenses. The television personality responded to a fan comment Wednesday, writing, “no mom is perfect – we all do our best.”
