CUSHING, Okla., July 26 (UPI) — The body of a 26-year-old woman was recovered about 5 miles away from her parachute after a skydiving accident in Cushing, Okla.

The woman, Sheralynn Neff, died when police say she fell completely out of her harness during a dive. Her parachute was discovered in a tree about 5 miles from where her body was recovered.

A spokesman for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Neff, who was from Kansas, was an experienced skydiver and was jumping with the Cushing Skydiving Jump School.

The sheriff’s office believes the parachute opened at 4,000 feet. The FAA is investigating.
