Dec. 14 (UPI) — President Donald Trump on Thursday afternoon is expected to address his plan to curb regulations for businesses.
He is scheduled to speak at 2:30 p.m. EST.
In January, the president made good on his campaign promise to deregulate by signing a directive that departments must eliminate two regulations for ever new regulation they create.
“We want to end the unfairness between small and big business caused by regulation,” Trump said at the time. “We are going to simplify, reduce, eliminate regulations.”
