Wyoming Teenager Discovers Dead Body While Playing Pokemon Go

RIVERTON, Wyo., July 9 (UPI) -- A Wyoming woman discovered a dead body in a river while playing the virtual game Pokemon Go on Friday. The cell phone game encourages players to explore their surroundings and use their cell phone to "catch" the cartoon creatures that appear on their screen. Shayla Wiggins, 19, went to explore the river near her home in Riverton, Wyo., when she discovered the dead body floating in the river. "I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water," Wiggins told KTVQ. "I had to take a second look and I realized it was a body." The person, dressed all in black, was floating face down in about three feet of water, authorities said. The person has not been identified. "The death appears to be accidental in nature and possibly that of a drowning," the Fremont County Sheriff's Office said in a statement "There is no evidence at this time that would indicate foul play."
