****HELP NEEDED TO IDENTIFY BURGLARY SUSPECT****On the evening of Nov. 12, 2019 an unknown suspect attempted to gain unauthorized entry into a local convenience store. This same suspect is believed to be involved in a "smash and grab" burglary that was committed at another location minutes after the attached video was recorded. We are asking for the public's help in identifying the individual in this video. MOAB, Utah, Nov. 14, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Moab police are searching for a man suspected in a smash-and-grab burglary case as well as an attempted burglary, both on Tuesday.

“On the evening of Nov. 12, an unknown suspect attempted to gain unauthorized entry into a local convenience store,” said a Facebook post from Moab City Police Department.

“This same suspect is believed to be involved in a smash-and-grab burglary that was committed at another location minutes after the video was recorded.”

The man thought to be the suspect is seen in the video wearing a distinctive black and white beanie.

Anyone who recognizes the man or who has information about the incident is asked to call the Moab City PD on 435-259-8938 or contact the department via Facebook messenger.
