WEST JORDAN, Utah, Aug.  4, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — West Jordan resident Sandy England resident lived in darkness — a victim of blindness for nearly 40 years — before the development of a revolutionary new technology known as the bionic eye.

England underwent a bionic eye implant in early July, and since then has been learning how to see again, but in a new way.

Gephardt Daily sat down recently with England to talk about pioneering surgical technique that is not only restoring a her sight, but changing her life in ways she could never imagine.
