United Airlines Flights Grounded Nationwide Due to Computer Glitch

WASHINGTON, July 8 (UPI) — United Airlines flights nationwide have been grounded Wednesday because of a computer malfunction. Flights will be impacted throughout the day.
The Federal Aviation Administration said “automation issues” caused the flights to be grounded. Some reports say the computerized check-in system crashed.
United had a similar incident June 2. There is no word when flights will resume.
