Ray Rice Has Domestic Violence Charges Dismissed
A New Jersey judge dismissed the charges Thursday, after Rice completed a pretrial intervention program, according to MSN.
Rice was released by the Baltimore Ravens following the events, which also led to an indefinite suspension from the NFL from commissioner Roger Goodell. An arbitrator eventually lifted the suspension, in light of Rice’s earlier two-game ban.
“I was just presented with a dismissal order from Prosecutor [James] McClain — which means that Ray Rice has successfully completed all of his terms and conditions of his PTI — therefore based on the Prosecutors recommendation I will be signing Mr. Rice’s dismissal of his case,” New Jersey Superior Court Judge Michael Donio told ABC News.
