LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) — Shelly Sterling, wife of ex-Clippers owner Donald Sterling, won a lawsuit to reclaim the gifts her husband gave to his girlfriend, V. Stiviano.

She is required to return $2.6 million, including a $1.8 million Spanish-style duplex and $800,000 in cash. Sterling’s lawyer sought payment for an additional $400,000 in cash and repayment for almost $900,000 in gifts ranging from luxury cars and designer bags to a lace thong and $1 donated to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital as part of a CVS purchase.

The suit was filed a month before the scandal broke where Sterling was recorded during a phone call to Stiviano making racist comments. Sterling was then banned, fined and forced to sell the Clippers.

Shelly Sterling won the lawsuit since the judge ruled the Sterlings did not live separately “during any part” of 2011 to 2014, Stiviano’s lawyer claims.

The Bentley, Ferrari and other recoverable gifts will be turned over to the Sterling family trust as well.
