Cake fail! ‘The Morning Stream with Todd and Erin’ — March 3, 2017

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 3, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Hello everyone! Todd and Erin here.

On Friday’s edition of “The Morning Stream,” we mull the concept of the over-the-top children’s birthday parties, while stuffing goodie bags for our (now) 6-year-old Zoe’s party.

What are the ground rules? How much is too much?

Are we bad parents if we don’t provide child guests with their own monogrammed water bottles?

And what about the cake? Homemade with love? Store bought with fleeting guilt? Or do you go to a high-end bakery where the frosting is adorned with 24 karat gold leaf?

What’s a mother to do?

(BTW, E’s epic cake fails have made their appearance on EpicFail.com for three years running. It’s now a point of family pride.)

Also on Friday’s “The Morning Stream,” we chew the fat about Snapchat’s IPO, John Swallow’s acquittal, Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, and we show you the cop that was nearly swept away by tidal wave of beer. Gotta see it to believe it.

Hope you’re enjoying our new podcasting adventure as much as we are.
