BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah, July 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Highway Patrol responded to a serious rollover crash Tuesday evening at Willard Bay.

UHP officials said the rollover occurred due to a rear-tire separation as the SUV was northbound on Interstate 15 at mile marker 357.

The driver was ejected in the single-vehicle rollover and was transported to the hospital in critical condition by a medical helicopter.

The passenger in the SUV was in serious condition and was transported by ground ambulance.

Traffic was blocked while the helicopter was on the ground. Two lanes are now reopened, UHP said.
