WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 20, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people were transported to the hospital Friday, one in critical condition, after their vehicles collided in Ogden Canyon shortly after 4 p.m.

Sgt. Stephanie Tatton, of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, told Gephardt Daily the crash occurred after a white car, westbound on State Route 39, had reportedly been passing another vehicle and entered the S-curve at mile marker 10.6.

Tatton said the driver of the white car over-corrected going back into his lane and hit the jersey barrier. The white car then was thrown into oncoming traffic, where it slammed into a white Ford pickup truck.

The driver of the white car was transported to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition. His passenger and the driver of the Ford pickup truck were also transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Tatton said the men’s ages ranged from mid-20s to 50. Their names were not released.
