4 stabbed in Ogden overnight

OGDEN, Utah, Sept. 10, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Four males are recovering from stab wounds they suffered just after midnight in Ogden.

The attacks were reported at 12:23 a.m. in the 2500 block of Van Buren Avenue, according to Lt. Will Cragun, of the Ogden Police Department.

Cragun said when officers arrived, people scattered from the scene. The males stabbed were ages 16, 17, 18 and 23.

“We had numerous calls from the area, which is residential,” Cragun told Gephardt Daily. “None of the stabbings are life-threatening.

“Three were transported (from the scene) to the hospital, and one, who was found at about 6 a.m., was transported then.”

Police are investigating the nature of the incident, including whether it may be gang related. Cragun said witnesses were uncooperative.
