Body of missing man found in Utah outback

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah, May 31, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The body of a missing man discovered in a remote area of Summit County on Thursday.

James Pritchard, 92, had been missing from his home in Lyman, Wyoming, since May 21.

According to a press release from the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office, personnel from UCSO and the Lyman Police Department assisted deputies with the Summit County (Utah) Sheriff’s Office with the body recovery on the North Slope/Gilbert Creek area.

“The body was found by people traveling through the area,” the release said.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Utah Medical Examiner’s Office will be handling any further investigation.
