FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, Jan. 11, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — The body of a Utah woman who went missing in Fort Lauderdale while on a business trip has been recovered.
Kelly Glover’s husband, Adam Bremer, made the announcement on social media just after 11 a.m. Saturday.
“Dear friends and family, It is with broken hearts we share that Kelly Glover’s body was found around 12 p.m. ET on January 11th.
“Investigation is ongoing. Funeral arrangements will be in Salt Lake City and announced when we have details.”
Detectives said Glover’s body was retrieved from a lake adjacent to the Westin Hotel where she was staying.
While their investigation is just beginning, police say they do not suspect foul play.
Glover, 37, was a project manager for CHG Healthcare in Midvale and last seen on surveillance cameras as she walked barefoot down a hotel stairwell about 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
A girlfriend who was sharing a room with Kelly, said she had gone to bed early and awoke about 4 a.m. to find Glover was missing and had left her purse and cell phone behind.
Bremer said he and his wife communicated every morning and that when she didn’t respond to his text the morning of her disappearance he became concerned.
Glover’s husband flew from Salt Lake City to Florida to help in the search efforts which came to a tragic end Saturday morning.
A message posted on the CHG Healthcare Facebook page simply said, “Sending all of our love to Kelly’s family at this difficult time.”
Gephardt Daily will update the story as more information becomes available.
