Children injured when gas poured on fire pit in Holladay

HOLLADAY, Utah, Dec. 31, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Three children were transported to Primary Children’s Hospital with burns after gas was poured on a fire pit Sunday night.

According to Unified Police, the incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at 1199 El Sendero Circle.

UPD and Unified Fire Authority officials said the children were injured when someone was trying to light a fire pit and poured gas on it.

Two of the children, ages 7 and 13, had minor injuries, it was reported.

An 8-year-old was transported to the hospital in critical condition initially but was later upgraded to good condition.
