TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Nov. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — It’s being reported that a shooting took place at a HotYoga studio in Tallahassee on Friday evening. One person was killed and multiple people were injured, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

The TPD posted on Facebook that they are investigating a shooting that occurred in the HotYoga Studio in the 1900 block of Thomasville Road.

The shooting occurred at about 5:37 p.m., TPD Chief DeLeo told reporters in a news conference.

DeLeo said five victims were shot, and one of them died. The other four victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The suspect is also deceased, and is believed to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Some news agencies reported that, according to witnesses, the incident appeared to be a domestic dispute.

DeLeo emphasized that there is no threat to the community. He said the shooting appears to have been carried out by one person.
