Male body with ‘significant trauma’ found in Ogden Pond

OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 16, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Ogden police are investigating after the body of a male was found with “significant trauma” on Thursday morning.

The deceased, classified as a “suspicious death,” was found just before 4 a.m. in the 21st Street Pond. Officers had been called to the scene on the report of an “unresponsive male” near the Ogden River Parkway trail.

The OPD tweeted on the finding:

“A male victim was located deceased with significant trauma. Weber Homicide Task Force & CSI are assisting in this ongoing investigation.”

No identity, age or cause of death has been released regarding the man. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call 801-629-8221 or email [email protected]
