MILLCREEK, Utah, Nov. 15, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police are looking for two suspects who robbed and assaulted a man outside of his home late Tuesday.

Unified Police Lt. Bill Robertson said officers were called at 9:19 p.m. to the area of 3155 South between 700 and 800 East.

Robertson said when the victim pulled into his driveway, he was approached by two men — one black, one white — who called him by name.

As the pair came up to the victim, they maced him and then assaulted him physically, Robertson said.

The suspects fled after robbing the man, but dropped his phone as they ran, and the victim was able to call for help.

Robertson said the victim had some cuts and scrapes on his head, but was in good condition otherwise.

Police set up an area of containment and brought in a K-9 officer, but were unable to find the suspects.

They are both described as about 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, and both in their mid-20s to 30s.

Robertson said the Caucasian suspect was wearing a ballcap and is either missing teeth or has distinctive large gaps in his front teeth.

Anyone who has any information about this incident is encouraged to call Unified Police at 801-743-7000.
