BOISE, Idaho, Sept. 16, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A gray Porsche leaving a Boise car show crashed onto a crowded sidewalk, sending at least 11 people to the hospital.

According to information from Chief William L. Bones, Boise Police Department, the call came in at 10:51 a.m., and officers responded to the area of West Overland Road and Entertainment Avenue, where a car show, Cars and Coffee, was being held.

Six victims were transported to an area hospital by ambulance, and five were taken by private vehicle. No information about the victims’ condition was immediately available, according to information from the Boise Police Department Twitter page.

The Porsche driver, who was unhurt, is cooperating with investigators. His car had participated in the show, officials said.

“The investigation is ongoing, once it’s complete the investigation will be forwarded to the prosecutor for possible charges,” the Boise Police Department Twitter post says.

A witness on the scene told The Idaho Statesman that the car had been “showing off” for the crowd.
