SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Feb. 13, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A young man was transported to the hospital Tuesday afternoon, the victim of a shooting at 3100 S. 300 East.
Gary Keller, executive officer for South Salt Lake Police, said the incident happened just after 4 p.m. in the residential neighborhood.
Keller said the youth, possibly 16 years old, was taken in serious condition to an area hospital.
“We’re trying to talk to everyone and get the details of what happened,” Keller said.
The south side of 300 East was blocked from 3000 South to 3200 South for several hours but was reopened later Tuesday night.
