May 29 (UPI) — Authorities arrested Tiger Woods early Monday for allegedly driving under the influence in Jupiter, Fla. He was released on his own recognizance, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Woods, 41, was booked at 7:18 a.m. in the town where he lives, an arrest report indicates. He was released from the Palm Beach County Jail at 10:50 a.m. with a DUI charge. Woods was pulled over on Military Trail south of Indian Creek Parkway.

Woods recently posted an update about his health on his official website, saying that he hasn’t “felt this good in years.” He is recovering from back fusion surgery, his third back operation.

“[The surgery gave me] instant nerve relief,” Woods wrote on his website. “I haven’t felt this good in years.”

Woods also said he isn’t close to picking up a club again. He hasn’t won a major championship since the 2008 U.S. Open.
