RIVERTON, Utah, Aug. 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews were dispatched to what was reported as a house fire Tuesday night at 3492 W. 12600 South. A plume of smoke from the blaze was visible in West Valley City.
Unified Fire Authority Public Information Officer Keith Garner told Gephardt Daily firefighters were called out a little before 7 p.m., and it took them about 20 minutes to extinguish the flames.
“It started in a field and went to the shed,” Garner said. He added that it was early in the investigation, and crews were still cleaning up. “We’ll know more in a little while.”
