Video: Man joins Army, donates 15 years’ worth of hair to Locks of Love

MISSOULA, Montana, Aug. 19, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Reynaldo Arroyo wanted to join the Army, but first he needed to get a haircut — something he hadn’t done in 15 years.

The 23-year-old’s transformation can be seen in a video that was shared on Facebook by the Salt Lake Army Recruiting Battalion.

In the video, Arroyo says he came to Missoula from California and is really excited to be enlisting in the Army.

He donated his hair to Locks of Love.

“Congratulations to Reynaldo Arroyo for enlisting in the #USArmy from the Missoula U.S. Army Recruiting Station as an 11X Infantryman with Airborne!” the Salt Lake Army Recruiting Battalion said on Facebook.
