Nov. 7 (UPI) — Secret Service officials said the agency arrested a Texas man near White House grounds Monday after he traveled to Washington, D.C., to kill “all white police.”

Montgomery County police sent a “be on the lookout” notice to Secret Service officials before 3 p.m. for Michael Arega, of Dallas, who officials said was traveling to the nation’s capital “for the purpose of killing ‘all white police.'”

Secret Service at the White House immediately began searching for Arega and spotted him on the north side of Pennsylvania Avenue near Lafayette Park.

Secret Service uniformed officers immediately arrested Arega and took him to the Metropolitan Police Department where arrest charges were pending.
