SANDY, UTAH – August 8, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – There’s been some awe inspiring beauty this weekend in the skies above Sandy, as dozens of hot air balloons floated across the landscape as part of the annual Sandy Hot Air Balloon Festival.
The first balloons were aloft early Saturday morning after high winds forced cancellation of Friday’s planned launch.
Saturday night hundreds turned out to watch the twilight Balloon Glow. The spectacular event unfolded tonight at the South Towne Promenade in front of Sandy City Hall. To see a replay of the live event, please click on the video player!
