BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Sept. 14 (UPI) — Playboy released its annual list of top party schools Monday.
Ohio University, home to over 23,000 students in Athens, Ohio, ranked as the No. 1 party school of 2015. The institution dethroned the University of Pennsylvania, which failed to make the top 10.
The magazine listed Ohio University’s annual Halloween block party and #Fest music festival as some of the “year-round antics” that pushed the school to the top of the list. In addition, students are often spotted smoking on “Bong Hill” thanks to Ohio’s statewide decriminalization of marijuana.
Ohio University failed to make the Princeton Review list of top party schools in August. University of Illinois ranked No. 1, followed by University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin, Bucknell University and Syracuse University.
