Provo firefighters called to scene of Columbia Lane blaze

PROVO, Utah, Nov. 29, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from Provo Fire & Rescue responded to a blaze on Columbia Lane.

The call came in at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, according to a tweet from Provo Fire & Rescue. Crews responded to the area of 860 W. Columbia Lane, and found a trailer home ablaze.

Crews battled the fire and put it out, but the trailer was a total loss. The lone occupant of the residence has not yet been located, an update says.

Provo Fire & Rescue posted a photo of a firefighter with a dog, apparently associated with the residence. A Facebook post confirmed the dog was OK.

No other details have been released. Gephardt Daily will have more information as it becomes available.
