WEST JORDAN, Utah, July 5, 2024 — Police were on the scene of an officer-involved possible shooting in West Jordan Friday night.
West Jordan police at 9 p.m. said on X, formerly Twitter, they were preparing to meet with reporters for a briefing on the “officer involved critical incident.”
Initial reports had a suspect believed critically injured after events beginning at around 8 p.m. in the area of 7900 S. 1300 West and moving to 9000 S. 1300 West. The news briefing was set for a location a few blocks away.
