TORONTO, May 24 (UPI) — Canadian police warned residents that a pair of capybaras escaped from a zoo in Toronto overnight.

Toronto police tweeted an advisory stating that the two animals escaped from their enclosure at High Park Zoo and asked residents to contact authorities if the animals were spotted.

The Toronto Star reports that authorities believe the capybara are still in the High Park area and fear dogs in the area could pose a threat to the animals.

The City of Toronto also warned citizens about the capybara, which are the worlds largest rodents and can grow to weigh about 140 pounds.
