Nov. 7 (UPI) — A Michigan police department warned rowdy football fans to keep their celebrations under control — or else officers will spoil Season 2 of “Stranger Things.”

The East Lansing Police Department tweeted a plea Saturday for Michigan State University football fans to keep their celebrations under control after the team’s victory over Penn State.

“GO GREEN! We have extra police officers in EL on overtime tonight. Celebrate this win the right way, don’t do something you will regret,” the department tweeted.

The first tweet was followed up with a threat from the department: “We’ve taped ‘Stranger Things’ spoilers all over the walls of our jail this week. Some extra motivation for you to not end up there.”

The second season of Netflix’s original series “Stranger Things” dropped in late October.

We’ve taped Stranger Things spoilers all over the walls of our jail this week. Some extra motivation for you to not end up there.
