SAN FRANCISCO, March 24 (UPI) — A San Francisco woman who thought there was a spot of mold on her porch discovered the mystery spot was something far more sinister — hundreds of tiny spiders.
Kelly Wright captured video Sunday of what she said initially appeared to be a spot of mold on her front porch.
Wright said it wasn’t until she leaned in close that she realized the dark spot was actually hundreds of tiny spiders crawling over one another in a cluster.
“Well, if this isn’t enough to give you nightmares, I don’t know what would do it,” Wright says in the video.
A friend suggested the arachnids appear to be baby European garden spiders.
“What we thought was mold on our front porch turned into a creepy surprise,” Wright wrote.
