Microsoft is reportedly drawing close to previewing the latest version of its Windows Phone operating system. Let’s look at the five stocks to watch Tuesday:

Microsoft. The company is expected to host an event January 21 where it will likely reveal new details of Windows 10 for mobile devices, reports The Verge. Unnamed sources say the event will reveal key changes to Windows Phone’s user interface to match desktop and the Xbox One video game console.

Apple. Shares are up slightly in pre-market trading after Credit Suisse upgraded the company’s stock to “outperform” off iPhone sales, CNBC reports. Apple reports quarterly earnings at the end of the month, during which they will likely reveal details on sales of its iPhone and iPad during the holiday.

Best Buy. The electronics chain is also benefitting from a stock upgrade. Goldman Sachs upgraded Best Buy to “buy,” CNBC reports, sending shares up 2.5% in early trading.

Facebook. The social network is partnering with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to issue AMBER Alerts to users. The alerts will appear in News Feeds of users within a specific search area. The alerts will pop up on both desktop and mobile.

Alibaba. The Chinese e-commerce giant is in talks to buy a $550 million stake in One97 Communications, a payment platform based in India. According to Reuters, Alibaba will announce the deal by the end of the month.
