3 injured in suspected Taylorsville DUI crash

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Dec. 27, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police are investigating a possible DUI crash that injured three people late Wednesday night in Taylorsville.

According Unified Police Lt. Paul Barker, officers were called to 1300 W. 5400 South at 11:57 p.m. with reports of an accident.

When first responders arrived, they found two heavily damaged silver sedans.

Barker told Gephardt Daily the driver of one vehicle sustained a serious head injury and was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in critical condition.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were taken to IMC in stable condition.

None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

Barker said there was preliminary evidence of a DUI and that officers were at the hospital to gather more information.
