WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, Jan. 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 20-year-old man was flown from the Wasatch back country after a snowmobile accident Saturday afternoon.
Wasatch Search and Rescue and EMS were called to the scene of the incident near Tower Mountain at approximately 12:40 p.m., according to a SAR Facebook post.
“One member of the riding party was able to sled to where he could get a 911 call out,” the post said. “A 20-year-old male had a severe leg injury that required an evacuation by helicopter.”
The injured man was flown by AirMed to an area hospital.
