More Than 3,500 Customers Without Power In Ivins, More In Ogden

Utah, Dec. 22, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The winter weather conditions are causing large-scale power outages both in Northern and Southern Utah.

Rocky Mountain Power said nearly half the population of Ivins is without power after a transmission interruption. A total of 3,625 customers are without power, of Ivins’ total population of 7,391. Crews are on site and repairs are underway. The estimated time of restoration is 5:30 p.m.

Crews are also on-site in Ogden and Riverdale, where approximately 200 customers are without power, down from 1,218 earlier Tuesday. The cause of the outage is snow; crews are on site and repairs are underway. The estimated time of restoration is 5:30 p.m.

There are also 50 customers without power in North Ogden and Ogden, down from 3,077 earlier Tuesday because of a vehicle accident. Crews are on site and repairs are underway. The estimated time of restoration is 6 p.m.
