Weber County Sheriff’s Office gets new K-9 officer

OGDEN, Utah, May 18, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Weber County Sheriff’s Office will soon have four more feet on the beat with the arrival of K-9 Ronin.

The department “is pleased to announce the newest members of our K-9 unit,” the WCSO statement says.

“Deputy Roche and K-9 Ronin were recently certified in narcotics detection and will soon be attending K-9 patrol school this summer.”

Ronin, a Belgian Malinois, is 2.5 years old.

“Deputy Roche and K-9 Ronin are excited to begin their work serving and protecting our residents of Weber County,” the department’s announcement says.
