PROVO, Utah, June 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Provo Fire and Rescue is reminding everyone to be especially careful around the Provo River this week.
On Friday, Provo Fire and Rescue posted an advisory on Facebook to alert the public that high, cold, and fast waters are anticipated in the Provo River this week.
Because of warmer temperatures, there will be an increase in the controlled release from the Jordanelle and Deer Creek reservoirs.
“Be mindful of people and pets and please stay at least 10 feet away from the river bank,” the post says.
