OGDEN, Utah, April 30, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Ogden Police detectives are investigating a double stabbing that occurred Tuesday afternoon in a residence on West 22nd Street.
Lt. Clint Christensen, Ogden Police Department, said the incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of West 22nd after “a male and female had been having an argument or discussion in the back bedroom of the home.”
“When he turned to leave, she stabbed him in the back,” Christensen told Gephardt Daily. “Then she stabbed herself.”
The man’s injuries were not life-threatening. The woman was in critical condition. Both were transported to an area hospital.
Christensen said the male and female are adults, but their relationship is not yet known.
Police were called by other people who were in the home at the time.
