BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah, July 19, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A new start, the Rocky Pass Fire, was reported at about midnight Sunday morning in western Box Elder County.
It’s on Bureau of Land Management Land, south of Grouse Creek and north of State Route 30.
The fire was caused by lightning, an 8:18 a.m. Utah Fire Info post says. It was estimated at 75 to 150 acres.
“Firefighters are actively engaged, working to slow the fire’s spread and protect structures threatened to the north.”
